Write up featured in 'Food and Travel Magazine':

'The garden at the Wyvill Arms isn't just for decoration. This former farmhouse cottage, in the Yorkshire Dales village of Constable Burton, has extensive grounds including a herb and vegetable garden where asparagus, runner beans and courgettes are grown for the pub's kitchen.

With views of farmland as far as the eye can see - local produce is intrinsic to chef Nigel Stevens' cooking. His menu is full of ingredients carefully sourced from the surrounding area, including meat from the local butcher Nigel Hammond of Bainbridge.

Choose from the pub menu's traditional dishes (homemade steak and onion pie) or opt for the more imaginative restaurant menu (pan-fried duck breast with honey and aniseed, served with a bitter-orange marmalade). Either way, the food is best enjoyed in the pub's well-tended garden.'
